OPERATION THEATRE & ANESTHESIA
Operation Theatre and Anesthesia courses teach students how to manage operation theaters, care for patients, and assist surgeons and anesthetists. These courses include theoretical and practical training in a variety of subjects, including: Anesthesia, Operation Theater Management, Patient Care, Emergency Management.
Programme Educational Objectives
- Assist with Anesthesia: They help in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, administering and monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring the patient's comfort and safety during surgery.
- Manage the Operating Room: They are responsible for preparing the operating room, ensuring it's sterile, and managing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor Patients: They closely monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery, alerting the anesthesiologist or surgeon to any issues.
- Emergency Response: They are trained to handle emergencies during surgery, including administering basic life support and airway management.
- Perioperative Care: They play a crucial role in the patient's care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring a smooth and safe experience.

Entry Requirements:
Candidate shall have passed 10+2 in science stream with physics and chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the math/biology.
